Horizontal Lifelines

PURPOSE: Fall arrest protection, travel restraint or restrict when working at heights to meet the requirements of ANSI Z359 or CSA Z259, OSHA, CE.

Mounting Position: Overhead, chest - shoulder, waist, low or floor positions can make a big difference in worker efficiency and safety.

Permanent Engineered Horizontal Lifeline Systems: Using state of the art calculation software we are able to engineer a lifeline system to meet any situation, be it a single user single span to multi user multi spans with curves and different height elevations using 8mm 5/16" or 12mm 1/2" stainless steel cables, aluminum, steel or stainless steel rails and beams.

Pre Engineered Lifelines: Permanent / Temporary, Contractor or Industrial Safety Horizontal-Lifelines, 9.5mm 3/8" galvcanized cable cable, 16mm 5/8" synthetic rope or flat webbing. Standard legths cut to order and shipped to your site ready to install out of the box.

Do It Yourself: install or have a certified installer do it for you, 8mm 5/16", 9.5mm 3/8", 12mm 1/2" galvanized or stainless cable, 7X19 construction for single or multiple users straight lines only (larger cable sizes, stainless steel available as custom orders).

Installer only systems (5/16" 8mm or 1/2" 12mm stainless cable, 1X7, 1X19, 7X7 or 7X19 construction, single or multi user, single or multi span systems can make curves and corners, endless lengths) These turnkey systems will comply with OSHA, ANSI or CSA as well as satisfying the toughest Corporate Health and Safety Policies. Includes all engineering documents, drawings, calculations and worker orientation.

ANSI/ASSE Z359.2-2017: Minimum Requirements for a Comprehensive Managed Fall Protection Program; This standard establishes criteria and requirements for an employer's fall protection program including policies, duties and responsibilities, training, survey and identification of fall hazards, fall protection procedures, eliminating or controlling fall hazards, rescue procedures, program implementation, incident investigation and evaluating program effectiveness.

ANSI/ASSE Z359.6-2016: Specifications and Design Requirements for Active Fall Protection Systems; This standard is intended for engineers who are trained as qualified persons and who have expertise in the design of active fall protection systems. It specifies requirements for the design and performance of complete active fall protection systems, including travel restraint and vertical and horizontal fall arrest systems.

ANSI/ASSE Z359.18-2017: Safety Requirements for Anchorage Connectors for Active Fall Protection Systems - Part of the Fall Protection Code; This standard establishes requirements for the performance, design, testing, marking and instructions for use of anchorage connectors in travel restraint, fall arrest, rescue, work position, rope access and suspended component / tie-back line systems only.
